I went to the KNP with Martin for several days and he is so knowledgeable about the wildlife and how to spot them, the KNP in general and especially where all the good food is and is also good fun to be with. Martin is an excellent photographer and was willing to show me how to get half decent photos and on one particular day we were driving along the road and he showed me a cheetah which was standing on a dead tree by the side of the road... Which I'd completely missed! So to sum up I would say a big thank you to Laughing Hyena Safaris and cant wait for my next adventure with Martin.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I'm returning to Kruger for a 2nd photography trip with Martin Brasg at Laughing Hyena Safaris.  Martin is an expert in animal behavior and is a both a certified guide and a long-standing volunteer in Kruger. I not only saw many animals (including a honeymoon couple of lions and baby hyena cubs!) but I learned a great deal about the behaviors of the animals we were observing and their habitats.  Martin got us excellent budget accommodations in Kruger (my requirement) and the restaurant meals were top notch and inexpensive.  I couldn't have asked for more time seeing animals and I learned a lot - Martin also shared his extensive photography knowledge with me and was very helpful in getting me great shots! “I joined a tour of the Kruger National Park offered by Martin Brasg of Laughing Hyena Safaris. A well needed break after spending almost nine months indoors due to the Covid -19 virus pandemic. It was a self-catering holiday in the Kruger National Park at the Skukuza rest camp. Martin was a consummate host, and thought of everything. His knowledge of the bush, attention to detail, and explanations of game, birds, trees and grass was fascinating and educational. Already in my head I am planning my next trip to any one of South African’s favourite places in the world.”
